Where & when
What's on the note
Front: Bab-e-Khyber (Khyber Gate), the iconic stone gateway at the entrance to the Khyber Pass near Peshawar, Pakistan. Built in 1964, this fort-like structure with its twin cylindrical towers marks the western end of the famous mountain pass connecting Pakistan to Afghanistan. The gateway flies the Pakistani flag and serves as both a historic landmark and symbolic entry point to the tribal regions.
Back: Paraguayan Soldier ('Soldado Paraguayo') depicted in military uniform with rifle, representing the soldiers who fought in the Chaco War (1932-1935) against Bolivia. The coat of arms of Paraguay appears at left with the motto 'Paz y Justicia' (Peace and Justice). This design honors Paraguay's military history and national defense.

Background & history
CRITICAL: These two images are NOT the front and back of the same banknote. The 'front' image shows a Pakistan 10 Rupees note from the State Bank of Pakistan's current series (2006-present), featuring the Khyber Pass gateway. The 'back' image shows a Paraguay 1 Guaraní note from Banco Central del Paraguay, printed by Thomas De La Rue & Company Limited under Decreto Ley No. 18 of March 25, 1952. The Paraguay note was issued in various printings from 1952 onwards. These are two completely different banknotes from different countries.
